Define the Force Injected in the Y Direction

The force has a magnitude of  25 N so we need to take the multiplier output and feed it through a gain control. We then set the level of gain to 25. The output of the gain control is then output using the Y injection force element.

  1. Select the Gain icon
  2. Click on the diagram to place the Gain. To keep consistant with our pictures, you can choose the sixth column in the forth row.
  3. Set the Gain Value in the properties window to 25.
  4. Connect the multiplier to the gain
  5. Click on the down arrow next to the Outputs icon. A small menu will appear. Select "Y Inject" . See the diagram below.
  6. Now move the mouse over the Block Diagram window and click in the forth row in the seventh column.
  7. Connect the gain to the output
