| Determining Where to Place the Yaw Cards |
The Yaw Cards must be strategically placed along the range to provide data that the Yaw Card analysis can use to accurately predict the coefficients. The placement is a function of the projectile's predicted motion frequencies. Fin stabilized and Spin stabilized projectiles exhibit very different down range motions. A basic understanding of the expected motion and using PRODAS to predict the motion of the actual projectile allows you to determine where to place the yaw cards.
