In this section we will perform an analysis of the cartridge case for a typical small arms round.

The goals of this section are to demonstrate how to:

• Build the CASAS finite element model of the cartridge case
• Add boundary conditions to the model
• Run the CASAS thermal analysis
• Enter temperature dependent material properties
• Run the main CASAS structural analysis
