This tutorial provides an introduction to Cartridge Case-Chamber Analysis module (CASAS), and
includes an example to demonstrate the use of CASAS to fully
evaluate a design.
You will learn to:
- Understand the theory and approach used in the analysis
- Access the PRODAS CASAS module
- Build the CASAS model and run the analysis
- Use CASAS to evaluate a Cartridge Case and Chamber design
CASAS installation and configuration
This tutorial assumes that you have successfully installed PRODAS with the
CASAS optional module on your computer and received a free evaluation key, or
are a registered user of PRODAS and CASAS.
The evaluation version of PRODAS includes CASAS. It is fully functional but time-limited to
30 days.
Tutorial example files
The tutorial projectile file is available in the ...\ ProdasV3\ProjectileData\Examples\CASAS
folder. If you want to follow along and start with a model without the CASAS analysis already
