 
If the case recovers to an interference condition, the case/chamber residual load will result
in a friction load upon extraction.  Considerable force may be required to overcome the friction 
forces.  The temperature variation with time has considerable influence on the final clearance 
or interference condition.  Extensive analysis has shown that the temperature at the time of 
maximum radial displacement and the temperature at the time of extraction are of primary 
importance when attempting to predict extraction loads.
