Ignitor Definition Tab |
The Interior Ballistics simulation does not include a model of flame spread characteristics. The
analysis assumes that all propellant is ignited simultaneously at the end of the time delay.
From the ignitor burn will come the pressure within the case at the time of propellant ignition
and the amount of energy added by the ignitor burn. The ignitor weight defaults to one percent
of the propellant charge weight.
Now you will enter the required input parameters for the Ignitor Definition Tab of the Baer-Frankle interior ballistics analysis module.
Click on the Ignitor Definition tab
shown in the figure below. Nothing is currently set but all of the values will be initialized by
importing data from a PRODAS reference book.
