| Flight Configuration |
Click on the Flight Configuration tab.
Your screen should look like this.
This screen is where you can control which finsets are deployed at various stages within the flight. For instance in the "Stage1 (Launch)" make sure that both the Finset 1 and Finset 2 option boxes are checked. This means that at launch both the rear stabilizing fins along with the forward canards are deployed.
If you would like to simulate launch without the forward canards or have the canards deploy at a certain TOF, you would uncheck the Finset 2 option in "Stage1 (Launch)" section. In the "Stage2" section, check the "use event?" option box and set the time that you would like to deploy your canards and then check the Finset 2 option boxe.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The deployment of the canards must be prior or exactly at the first TOF set for the Canard deflection event.
