This tutorial provides an introduction to Controlled Trajectory (CONTRAJ), and takes you through several
tasks which provide an overview of how to use the PRODAS/Controlled Trajectory environment to
its fullest.
You will learn how to:
- Open the Controlled Trajectory module of PRODAS
- Generate control forces via forward canard deflection angles
- Simulate the trajectory of a Projectile with active control forces
- Plot the trajectory of a Projectile with active control forces
- Plot the trajectory of a Projectile with the active control forces turned off
- Cross plot the results of the two simulations
CONTRAJ installation and configuration
This tutorial assumes that you have successfully installed PRODAS with the
CONTRAJ optional module on your computer and received a free evaluation key, or
are a registered user of PRODAS and CONTRAJ.
The evaluation version of PRODAS includes the CONTRAJ analysis. It is fully functional but time-limited to
30 days.
Tutorial example files
The tutorial projectile files are available in the ...\ProdasV3\ProjectileData\Examples\Contraj
folder. If you want to follow along
and start with a model without the Contraj Inputs setup then use ...\ProdasV3\ProjectileData\Examples\Contraj\105M735_WithCanard_Start.pr3
