| Yaw Card Placement Rules |
In this section of the Yaw Card Tutorial the user will learn where to position Yaw Cards on the range for optimal data collection.
For Statically stable projectiles (Fin Stabilized) 15 to 20 Yaw Cards should positioned evenly over 1 1/2 cycles.
For Gyroscopically stable projectiles (Spin Stabilized) the angular motion is more complex (see previous tutorial sections on yawing motion). Place 6 to 8 cards for the 1st fast cycle, skip a cycle, 4 to 5 for the next fast cycle, skip a cycle, and 4 to 5 for the next cycle. The fast mode frequency is generally 5 to 10 times the slow mode frequency.
