Using CASAS to Evaluate a Cartridge Case Design

Using CASAS to fully evaluate a Cartridge Case and Chamber design is a lengthy process. As you have seen from this example, a large amount of data is required as input to the analysis and significant work must be expended to estimate several of the input parameters. Once a successful CASAS run has been made, the data can be scanned for obvious undesirable conditions. Then the process begins to evaluate the design under the full range of environmental conditions and manufacturing variations that are expected. Most likely this will prompt changes to the design and require many of the analysis runs to be repeated. PRODAS offers a couple of tools to help with these repetitive runs.

See the Macro Language section in the PRODAS Help for a full description of this capability
