In the upper left hand side of the input tab are the inputs required to describe the Nozzle Geometry .
- The Nozzle Throat Diameter is the minimum diameter of the nozzle.
- The Nozzle Exit Half Angle definition has been shown previously
- The Nozzle Area Ratio or Nozzle Exit Diameter is found by looking at the nozzle section of the PRODAS model.
In the upper right hand side of the input tab are the Nozzle Performance Parameter inputs.
- The Nozzle Closure Blowout Pressure .
- The Efficiency.
- The Alignment Angle is the angle between the Nozzle centerline and the motor longitudinal axis which produces no roll torque (e.g. the exhaust vector of the nozzle passes through the rocket center of mass).
- The Erosion Rate is the velocity at which the nozzle surface recedes from the erosive flow of the exhaust gases.
In the bottom center of the input tab are the Rocket Motor Heat Transfer Parameters.
- The Heat Transfer Coeff is a multiplier on the rate of heat transmission perpendicular to the motor case surface.
- The Heat Sink Area is the area of the motor tube walls which will be heated by the gaseous combustion products.
- The Heat Sink Capacity is the amount of heat which can be absorbed by the motor case.
