| A Look at the Canards in the Aero Prediction Module |
Another way to view the canard configuration is from the Fin/Flare tab in the Aero Prediction window as shown in the diagram. The first fin set defines the fins at the tail of the projectile. The second fin set define the foreward canards.
Contraj can define deflections on fin sets during flight. The fin set number is used to identify which fin set to deflect. The first column of the table below is the first fin set. In this case the first set is the rear fins. The second column of the table below is the second fin set. In this case the second set is the foreward canards.
