The following types of results are available from a Single analysis:
- Projectile Resultants: These are the root-sum-square (RSS) of the components for yaw angle, yaw rate,
cross velocity, and cross acceleration. This data is
available in both a global or earth fixed coordinate system and in a rotating or body fixed coordinate system. This data can
be tabulated or plotted versus time or travel.
- Projectile Node Data: This includes lateral displacements, bending moment, shear force, centrifugal force, axial
force at each node versus time or travel.
- Projectile Spring Data: This data includes both load and displacement data for the bore riding springs attached
to the projectile.
- Gun Tube Node Data: This includes lateral displacements and velocities of each node in the gun tube model.
The types of data listed above are available in the following forms:
- Formatted: This form is text output that can be printed; it can also be copied and pasted into a
word processor.
- Tabulated: This is in spreadsheet form that can be copied into another spreadsheet program. The units of each
column can be changed individually and will also change when switching between metric and English.
- Plotted: The plotted form is a graphical form that can be printed or copies/pasted into a word processor. The graphs
can be scaled under user control.
The following two slides show examples of tabulated and plotted results.
