Tutorial Example |
This example demonstrates running PRODASV35 from a command file. It includes the optional parameter file to demonstate how the script can be modified between runs simply by editing the parameter file.
For this example a 22mm spin stabilized projectile is opened. The script pulls the lengths from the ogive elements of the projectile. It does three analysis loops. The first pass it uses the original ogive lengths. It calculates mass properties and then runs Aero Prediction. For subsequent loops the ogive lengths are reduced by 1/1000 of a meter. For each loop it outputs the ogive lengths, s ome basic mass property output as well as the basic aeros table to a text file. The projectile is closed without saving and PRODASV35 is exited.
The purpose of this example is to show the mechanism of running PRODASV35 from a command file.
The example script file demonstrates the type of automation that can be done with PRODASV35 scripts.
