To be able to interface with PRODAS you need to know that PRODAS will deliver your requested data in a file and accept a file to be returned with any data that you specified.

PRODAS handles reading and writing those files. What you need to know is how to convert that data to and from your program. The key is what units PRODAS will be using.

Internally PRODAS just deals in what we call SDK Internal Metric unit. So if you have defined a variable as unit type dimension then PRODAS will be passing it to you in meters. If you have to return a variable with unit type angle then you must supply the value in radians. The same is true with table columns that go to or from your analysis. Remember that in the data manager we defined a Unit type for each data point and table column.
