Data is written to a PRODAS datafile when the user chooses Save from the File menu as shown below.

A few things to know about the PRODAS data file

• it is very structured.
• The data is stored by data family.
• Only modified data is stored.

The section of the example data file, BaseballModel_finish.pr3, that stores the newly defined data family, baseballTrajectory, is shown between the two red lines below.
