Example Comparing Contraj 6DOF/7DOF Results

In this example we will set up our scenario and run both Contraj and Contraj 7DOF with the round that we built. We will cross plot the results. If you did not build a round then you can use the 105M1_Contraj7DOF_Finish.pr3 round supplied with PRODAS.

The next slides will show how to set up the "Fin Control Definition" and "Fin Control Data" to define our problem.

The nose roll cant angle, and roll damping will despin the forward section against the bearing friction. This bearing Friction is generated from the radial load on the bearing (nose drag). At 3 Seconds we will deploy the forward canards to 1 degree deflection and slowly increase the cant to five degrees over the next 7 seconds.
