Forebody Aero Table

Since this round has a despun nose, the Forebody Aeros table needs to be set up before our Contraj 7DOF run. This table was built up earlier in the tutorial.

To view the table please open "Aero Direct Input" in the "Forebody Aeros tab as shown below. It can be found under "Aerodynamics" in the "Analysis" Menu. Make sure your values match the table below.

Note: This table represents the aerodynamic state of the despun section with 2 fins. These aeros were pulled from the original Fin aero table predictions. Please review the section of the tutorial where this table was set up. Please make sure you zeroed out of Clp_F1 in the fin aero table and understand the reason why.

These coefficients represent predicted aero coefficients for the fins alone. The drag of the fins and the contribution t drag when the fins are canted are also used in the "Bearing Friction" and bearing effects on the entire system. This will be further discussed in the 7DOF Parameter interface.

Note: The Cldd values shown are per 1 degree of fin cant. We will be using these values with the 7DOF Parameter interface to calculate the fin cant angle (which is roll cant in this instance meaning the fins will go opposite the angle producing roll torque), not fin cant control angle (where both fins will deploy in the same direction producing lift)

The aero dynamics shown below will be combined with the Despun Assembly physical properties.
