The steps to defining the Main Body Points are
- Go to the Points tab.
- Select the two corner points by left clicking the mouse at the desired locations as shown in the figures below. Use the zoom window to carefully select the position on the image.
- Select a point at the left edge on the outer diameter of the element above the centerline.
- Have the SHIFT KEY DEPRESSED when selecting a point on the right edge on the outer diameter of the element above the centerline. Since our element has the same right and left diameter the second point is on the same horizontal plane as the first. Holding down the shift key will cause the program to keep the points on the same horizontal plane by giving the second point the same diameter as the first. This feature was used earlier in the tutorial when defining the centerline. In that case the program was keeping the points on the same vertical line.
