The key points about Points:
- Are defined by clicking on the bitmap when the Points tab is visible in the ribbon bar
- Are deleted by right clicking on a point
- Are used to define the corners of the truncated cones that are PRODAS elements
- Will only be accepted above the Centerline of the projectile
- A single point can be used by multiple elements
- A single point can be used to build a VOID element in one component and a positive element in another
Key points about Elements:
- Constructed by clicking on two points when the Build Components tab is visible in the ribbon bar
- Element type (Truncated cone/Fin and VOID/Solid) are set prior to construction on the ribbon bar
- Element data can be changed later on the Edit Elements tab
- The component that contains the element is set prior to construction on the ribbon bar
- Elements are sequentially named as "Element1...ElementN" by the Tracing Tool
Key points about Components:
- Are added when the Build Components tab is visible in the ribbon bar
- Must be added before elements can be defined
- Can be added all as once (recommended)
- Deleting an component will delete all of its elements (but not the points that defined them)
From now on order is not important. You have to have components and points defined before you can build an
element, but you can always add more points or components at any time.
