One important thing that is required in the definition of every data point or table value is unit. In the Data Manager the user selects from a list box. The choices are provided in the Unit of Measure column of the tables on the next page.

Knowing the unit for every data item allow PRODAS users to

• toggle all of the displays for their analyses for a projectile between us and metric
• toggle an individual data value's display on a form. See the choices for each unit type on the tables in the next slide.
• set the default for each dimension for that round based on the template used when the round was opened
• change the default of an individual unit for the round
• apply a template to an existing round

Once you define your PRODAS data with a unit you will benefit from these automatic PRODAS features
